A fresh strike off Top Die #24, as seen in my book “Cameo & Brilliant Proof Coinage”! Frosty Cameo devices pop off pitch-black fields creating Cameo “PLUS” contrast that’s very difficult to find among 1954 halves! In fact, this should be a STAR, as the obverse is a heavy cameo-to-ultra-cameo. A solid layer of Cameo frost fully covers the obverse and reverse devices in glowing, white snow. The deep fields are free of any significant hairlines or spots, and has zero haze. It is very rare to obtain a 1954 with gorgeous black-and-white Cameo contrast such as this!
